Combining LCoS,waveguide technology, and spatial optics, Hardstone’s waveguide Light FieldDisplay delivers a 55-inch Full HD virtual image with a 7.5-meter viewingdistance, all within a system volume of less than 1L.
The long-distance virtual image creates a more natural viewingexperience, helping reduce visual fatigue associated with prolonged close-rangeviewing. Its compact design also enables flexible integration into seatbacks,headrests, and passenger-side areas.
Hardstone independently develops and manufactures its LCoS opticalengine, with in-house capabilities spanning waveguide integration, spatialoptical design, and system integration. This end-to-end expertise supports thecoordinated optimization of image quality, optical performance, and systemsize.
Notably,Hardstone introduced its first-generation Light Field Display last year, featuringa 4.5-inch TFT optical system with spatial optics. It delivers a 39-inchvirtual image at 1920 × 1080 resolution, with a 3-meter virtual image distance.
