From October 13–16, the 2025 Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) was successfully held, attracting over 3,200 quality exhibitors and 60,000 visitors worldwide. As one of the most influential B2B electronics events globally, the show once again brought together industry leaders and cutting-edge innovations.
Hardstone made a remarkable appearance in the Hall of Fame, unveiling its latest breakthroughs in smart cockpit display — including the LCoS AR-HUD, Waveguide-Based LCoS PGU, Light Field Display, Virtual Personal Assistant, Cockpit Domain Controller, etc.

LCoS + Waveguide: Expanding Vision within a Compact Volume
Building on its proprietary LCoS technology, Hardstone continues to push the boundaries of in-vehicle display innovation. Its latest Waveguide-Based LCoS PGU drew significant attention at the fair. The solution delivers 4K resolution, 120% sRGB, 2000:1 contrast ratio, and 400lm brightness, setting new benchmarks in visual performance.
Through the deep integration of LCoS and waveguide optics, Hardstone’s LCoS Waveguide AR-HUD achieves a revolutionary reduction in size — up to one-quarter of traditional HUDs — while offering an expanded FOV, longer virtual image distance, and richer visual information. The product reaches 4K resolution, 15000nits brightness, 20m projection distance, and a 223-inch virtual image, bringing ultra-large cabin display to reality.

Light Field Display: In-Vehicle Immersive Cinema
Hardstone also showcased its mass-production-ready Light Field Display, a new-generation display integrating spatial optical technologies. Unlike conventional LCDs, it offers ultra-high resolution, large image size, longer viewing distance, and wider field of view, effectively reducing eye strain while delivering an immersive cinema-level visual experience.
The product supports 2K resolution, 37-inch virtual size, and 3 m image distance with 16°×8° FOV, delivering exceptional clarity and comfort. Currently undergoing on-vehicle testing, the product has received positive customer feedback and is progressing toward mass commercialization.

AI-Powered Interaction: From Command to Companionship
As automotive intelligence evolves, Hardstone’s Virtual Personal Assistant redefines human–machine interaction — evolving from mere “voice control” to genuine “emotional companionship.”
Driven by AI large models, the assistant combines floating projection with naked-eye 3D imaging to present a lifelike virtual persona that can “speak and move” naturally. Supporting multilingual communication, real-time recognition, and multi-scene interaction, it enables seamless full-cabin conversation powered by the Faster-Whisper framework.
Highly customizable and adaptable to different brands and cockpit spaces, the solution not only enhances user engagement but also brings warmth and personality to intelligent mobility — making every journey more intuitive and humanized.

Supero Domain Control: Driving Unified Intelligence
Hardstone’s Supero Series Cockpit Domain Controllers highlight its strength in computing integration and cross-domain collaboration. The Supero 400 platform features a high-performance SoC supporting multi-screen operation across IVI, instrument cluster, HUD, and rear-seat displays, compatible with Android, Linux, QNX, and RTOS systems.
This product also supports up to 12 camera inputs, covering DMS, AVM, OMS, and DVR applications, and meets AEC-Q100 automotive-grade standards. The system enables centralized computing and seamless coordination between displays, accelerating the transition from multi-function cabins to unified intelligent platforms.

Amid the global shift toward intelligent and connected vehicles, Hardstone remains committed to independent innovation and forward-looking development. Moving ahead, Hardstone will continue to advance the integration of AI, optics, and algorithms, driving innovation in smart cockpit display technologies and shaping the next generation of intelligent mobility.
