On June 21, the 2024 Auto Intelligence Innovation Awards Ceremony was grandly held in Suzhou, China. Hardstone LCoS AR-HUD2.0, recognized for its outstanding technical strength, won the "Intelligent Innovation Award."

As a prestigious annual benchmark in the automotive industry, the 2024 Auto Intelligence Innovation Awards are evaluated by experts from leading research centers, renowned universities, and professional industry associations. The awards employ rigorous evaluation criteria to authoritatively recognize outstanding achievements and pioneering technologies that demonstrate creativity and technological prowess.

Notably, the 5th Automobile HUD Frontier Technologies Forum was successfully held on the same day. Hardstone was invited to deliver the speech " LCoS Technology Empowers AR-HUD”. Leon Li, the leader of Hardstone Pre-R&D Center, highlighted that LCoS technology, with its superior performance and excellent technical leadership, will be the best PGU solution for AR-HUD.

Furthermore, Leon Li revealed that Hardstone is soon launching MR-HUD (Mixed Reality Head-Up Display), the world's first cockpit display unit integrating CMS and AR-HUD, which will redefine the next generation of HUD!

LCoS AR-HUD2.0 adopts Automotive-Grade LCoS PGU developed by Hardstone. Based on exclusive patented optical path design, LCoS PGU utilizes 8G all-glass optical lenses to achieve optimal visual effects, boasting cutting-edge 120%sRGB, 15,000nits brightness and 2000:1 contrast. Moreover, professional structure paired with precision components delivers exceptional performance.

Co-Creative HMI Design

Centered on user needs, Hardstone actively fosters deep co-creation with users in the HMI design of LCoS AR-HUD 2.0. The product incorporates Hardstone's proprietary AR algorithm to optimize the entire interactive interface for better integration of AR images with real-world scenes. Additionally, with high-precision maps and positioning, this product provides drivers with clear displays for navigation, reminders and warnings by integrating current location, maps, and scene AI, achieving interconnection between vehicles, roads, and the environment.

Fully-Equipped R&D Team

With a highly skilled core team proficient in diverse fields such as optical design, optical testing, hardware and software development, AR fusion algorithms, and more, Hardstone offers robust support for the development, application, and superior iteration of AR-HUD technology.
